My name is Tanner Maffett, owner of Elite Power Solutions. I'm married to an incredible woman, Paige, and we have 2 sons, Tatum (5) and Oliver (2) that are the best of friends and the main reason I started this company. I graduated from Texas A&M in 2013 with a degree in Geology and started out my professional career as a geophysicist. I moved into distillates brokerage to gain experience in a sales-oriented role with a focus on building relationships with all different kinds of people. It's been a life goal of mine to call something my own and get out exactly what I put into it, which is why I chose to start my own business. I've lived in Texas for over 30 years, and I've seen firsthand how hurricanes and surprise freezes disrupt lives. In 2024 without a generator, my family would have been without power for 8 days during the derecho and 13 days during Beryl! After watching families struggle during outages, and knowing how much value my generator has added to my family's peace of mind (and even resale value of the home!), I decided that my business would be focused on reliable backup power. I'm passionate about keeping Houston homes safe and comfortable, and I'm proud to donate a portion of every install to Folds of Honor to support the families of fallen and disabled service members.
